In Cornwall this ruin was part of Morvah and Zennor United Mine.

 East Pool and Agar Mine this is how the surface works looked.

In its working day, this was the last Cornish Mine to de-water deep mine workings on steam power, using a massive 90 inch Cornish Beam Engine, operating from 1924 to 1954 at Pool near Redruth Cornwall.
